Thermosalinometer TRANSMED, Marfret Niolon, definitive data set

Data (2012-2014) of the thermosalinometer (TRANSMED system) on board the MV Marfret Niolon: Sea Surface Temperature (SST) and Sea Surface Salinity (SSS) are recorded underway at ~3m deep, between Marseilles (MRS) and Algeria. The data set is the best QA/QC possible: this definitive data set has been post-processed following water samples results and yearly recalibration of the instruments, and SST has been adjusted to account for the in-situ difference. <br />
Data set to link with the SEOS atmospheric sensors and GPS data for integrated water vapour content (HyMeX TS6b).<br />
TRANSMED was also fostered by the CIESM (www.ciesm.org).<br />
NB: Supersedes the data that were transmitted in (near)real time to Coriolis and GOSUD.<br />
