Lands of the Bohemian Crown (Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia)

The data contains two types of file. The first type is a historical reconstruction map of Silesia around 1400, available in two formats: JPG and PDF. The second type comprises vector layers for GIS, including SHX, SHP, PRJ, DBF and CPG files. We offer data on Silesia specifically, as well as on selected Czech lands (Bohemia, Moravia, Lusatia and Silesia) collectively. This data was created for historians in QGIS using the reconstruction methods described in our paper Michal Vokurka and Tereza Dufková, Pre-modern Silesia and the problem of historical reconstruction maps, Polish Cartographical Review, Vol. 58, 2026, pp. 43–55, DOI: 10.2478/pcr-2026-0004.
