A study of hop (Humulus lupulus L.) response to infection with pathogenic fungus Verticillium nonalfalfae. Performed on susceptible 'Celeia' and a resistant 'Wye Target' cultivars, infected with lethal pathotype of V. nonalfalfae. Samples were taken at 6, 12, 18 and 30 days post inoculation, separately from root and shoot tissues. For each sample, there was a corresponding control sample from noninfected plants. Plant material from three different plants was pooled for each sample.
