The goal of this study was to investigate the bacterial community structure and succession along deglaciation chronosequence. Soil samples were collected from the Muztag Ata glacier, Tibetan Plateau. Soil samples were collected from 3 parallel transects (separated by 1 m), and the distance between each sampling points was 1 m.
