GRB simulation dataset for the COMCUBE-S polarimetric study

This dataset contains the simulation data required to run and reproduce the results of the grb-COMCUBE-simu repository, developed in the context of the ESA COMCUBE-S project. The data includes: Background simulations — condensed background files for different satellite geometries and energy cuts, computed using MEGAlib and the LEO background model mu100 / effective area simulations — condensed modulation factor and effective area files for different satellite geometries and sky pointings GRB catalogues — synthetic GRB catalogue, the Fermi GBM 10-year catalogue and associated rest-frame properties (redshift, isotropic energy, peak luminosity) GBM light curves — background-subtracted light curves for GBM GRBs, used as templates for synthetic catalogue generation Instrument geometries — mass model files describing the COMCUBE-S satellite geometries used in the MEGAlib simulations MEGAlib configuration files — revan and mimrec configuration files used for event reconstruction and analysis Example files — example parameter files for running GRB, background, and mu100 simulations All condensed files are specific to the energy cuts applied during their creation.
