This record provides version 1.0 of a record-level whole-rock geochemical database for lunar mare-basalt-related materials. The database was compiled from original peer-reviewed publications and is built around published whole-rock trace-element data measured by ICP-MS. Major-element and age information are retained or supplemented where traceable links to the same sample, subsample, analytical object, or parent sample are available. The current version contains 305 analytical records, 117 parent samples, and 35 valid references, including 24 ICP-MS trace-element source publications and 11 additional major-element supplementation sources. The dataset covers Apollo returned samples, Chang’e samples, and lunar meteorites, and includes pristine mare basalts as well as basaltic fragments, basaltic clasts, and basalt-bearing regolith or breccia where the original literature demonstrates a mare-basalt-related component. The workbook contains four functional worksheets: Introduction, Reference, Raw Data, and User Data. The Raw Data sheet preserves record-level provenance through Reference_ID and Record_ID, together with analytical metadata and major-element linkage information. The User Data sheet is derived from Raw Data and provides a user-oriented table for direct plotting, statistical analysis, major–trace-element comparison, rare-earth-element analysis, and preliminary machine-learning applications. This database is intended to support comparative and data-driven studies of lunar mare basalt petrogenesis, mantle source characteristics, partial melting, fractional crystallization, geochemical classification, rare-earth-element systematics, and the temporal and compositional evolution of lunar volcanism. Users should cite both this Zenodo record and the original source publications when reusing individual analytical data.
