DNA barcoding diverse Diptera from the Entomology collection at the National Museum of Natural History

The aim of this project was to increase the coverage of Diptera barcodes in public sequence databases (BOLD and GenBank). All specimens were sourced from the Entomology Collection at NMNH, Smithsonian Institution and digitized, and barcoded at Center for Biodiversity Genomics, Guelph University. Additional specimen and sequence information can be found in the Entomology collections database and in the public BOLD project DS-ASILO.
