COLMAP Sparse Point Cloud Data of Nanjing Normal University Xianlin North Campus (July 28, 2022) - Part 1

This dataset contains Part 1 of the COLMAP sparse point cloud data for the Xianlin North Campus area of Nanjing Normal University (including the Old North Area and New North Area). The original aerial survey data was acquired on July 28, 2022, and processed using the standard COLMAP workflow to generate this sparse reconstruction. The point cloud data is stored in the standard COLMAP output format and contains precise geospatial reference information. Please note that this COLMAP sparse point cloud is a sub-component of a larger comprehensive scene dataset for this region. The complete dataset for this study area also includes distortion-corrected oblique aerial photographs, subsampled LiDAR point clouds, and Geo3DGS model data. For subsequent parts of this split sparse point cloud data (if applicable), please refer to related Zenodo uploads under the same project. Data merging and decompression instructions: Due to platform file size limitations, the original archive file corresponding to this sparse point cloud has been split into multiple parts (e.g., colmap_north_20220728_part_001, colmap_north_20220728_part_002, etc.). To reconstruct the original archive file, please use the following command-line instructions based on your operating system: Windows (Command Prompt):copy /b colmap_north_20220728_part_* colmap_north_20220728.tar.gz Linux / macOS (Terminal):cat colmap_north_20220728_part_* > colmap_north_20220728.tar.gz After successfully merging the parts, you will obtain a single .tar.gz archive. You can then decompress it using standard tools.
