Geological Dataset for the Cenozoic geology of Anatolia

The dataset presented here includes published data on the Cenozoic geological history of Turkey. The dataset includes five Tables and a References list. Table S1 includes paleontological ages of the last marine Cenozoic sedimentary rocks in Turkey along with their localities and stratigraphic information. Table S2 comprises mammal ages of the continental Cenozoic sediments along with their localities and depositional envionments. Table S3, linked to Table S2, shows the method used of subdividing multiple mammal zones into single mammal zones. Table S4 lists ages of Cenozoic magmatic rocks in Turkey along with their locations and rock types. Table S5 lists the published thermochronological ages and their locations in Turkey. The file "References" includes references cited in the Tables S1, S2, S4 and S5. These Tables are prepared to accompany a manuscript submitted to the Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences entitled "Uplift of Anatolia: a review and new data from the Central Anatolia" by Aral I. Okay, Massimiliano Zattin, Ercan Özcan and Gürsel Sunal.
