CGH analysis of DENA-induced liver tumor in pigs (Sus scrofa)

We have employed aCGH analysis of tumor tissue compared to non-tumourous tissue in pigs treated with diethylnitrosamine (DENA). Beside other liver tumors angiosarcoma-like tumors were observed in the DENA-treated livers. Pigs were treated with 200 mg/kg body weight DENA. Liver was resected 10 months later. Labeling was performed following the BioPrime aCGH Genomic Labeling Module protocol (Invitrogen). The samples were hybridized on an 8x15k CGH Array under the conditions of the Agilent protocol (Version 7.2). The arrays were analyzed with an Agilent DNA Microarray Scanner G2505C and the extraction software Agilent Feature Extraction 11.0.1.1.
