Lung nodule detection/segmentation of Centro de Ciências das Imagens e Física Médica do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto

This database consists of exams from patients diagnosed and treated at both the Hospital das Clínicas of the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine and the Américo Brasiliense State Hospital, covering the period from 2010 to 2017. The total dataset includes 101 cases, all featuring CT images with contrast, provided in the nifti format, along with their respective bounding box annotations. 2 exams and the annotations (composed of 2 .json files) of bounding boxes were compresed into a .zip file.

All exams have biopsy results, with all cases classified as subtypes of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The nodules were identified at various stages and described using the TNM staging system, which consists of 3 stages. The database includes examples of all stages, though in varying proportions. The nodule locations are: superior right, middle right, inferior right, superior left, and inferior left. Nodules are located in both central and peripheral regions.
