Stunting still represents a major public health problem in Egypt, affecting around one-third of children under five and leading to a 2-3% drop in gross domestic product (GDP). Therefore, this study examined the trends in the prevalence of stunting and its associated factors among children aged 0-23 months, 24-59 months and 0-59 months in Egypt. The study used combined data from the 2005, 2008, and 2014 Egypt Demographic and Health Surveys (EDHS).
