Sand flow observation data

We selected six observation sites in an arid to semi-arid region of northern China, including two sites with mobile sands (SL1 and SL2), two farmlands (FL1 and FL2), and two gobis (GB1 and GB2). Firstly, we calculated the content of erodible particles in each surface as a function of the wind velocity. We then measured sand flow over these surfaces, with the goal of establishing a quantitative relationship between the content of erodible particles and the degree of saturation of the sand flow (i.e., defined as the ratio of the measured sand transport rate to the potential saturated transport rate).
