资源简介:
BackgroundCannabis sativa is a versatile plant valued for its pharmaceutical, industrial, and recreational applications. It produces a diverse range of bioactive secondary metabolites, including cannabinoids and terpenoids, synthesized through complex tissue-specific metabolic pathways. Despite its significance, the molecular mechanisms underlying secondary metabolite biosynthesis and tissue-specific gene regulation in C. sativa are not yet fully understood.Project GoalsThis project focuses on the transcriptomic profiling of C. sativa tissues and developmental stages to uncover the molecular basis of its tissue-specific secondary metabolism. By analyzing differential gene expression, alternative splicing events, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), and genetic variations, we aim to enhance the understanding of its regulatory networks and genetic architecture.
