NOAA JPSS Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) Raw Data Record (RDR) from IDPS

The Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) onboard the Suomi-NPP measure both solar-reflected and Earth-emitted radiation from the top of the atmosphere to the Earth's surface. The measurements obtained from CERES are used to observe and understand the role of clouds and the energy cycle in global climate monitoring and prediction. This metadata record encompasses all CERES Raw Data Records (RDRs), which include science, diagnostic and telemetry RDRs. This product is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and is distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS).
