Two Micron All-Sky Survey (2MASS) All Sky Release contains highly uniform near-infrared catalogs and image data, covering 99.998% of the celestial sphere. These datasets were acquired via survey observations using 1.3-meter telescopes at Mount Hopkins, Arizona, and Cerro Tololo, Chile. The data products of the 2MASS All Sky Release include: a Point Source Catalog (PSC) that records positions and photometry for 470,992,970 celestial objects; a Scan Information Table (SCN) holding public metadata for 59,731 survey scans; an Extended Source Catalog (XSC) providing positions, photometry, and basic morphological information for 1,647,599 spatially extended sources, most of which are galaxies; and an image atlas comprising 4,121,439 J-, H-, and Ks-band FITS images covering the entire sky. This mirrored dataset includes the Point Source Catalog (PSC), Scan Information Table (SCN), and Extended Source Catalog (XSC), but excludes the image data.
