The effect of beita- lactam antibiotics on the diversity of gut microbiota in black soldier fly larvae

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of beita-lactam antibiotics on the gut microbiota diversity of black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) to assess whether antibiotic exposure significantly alters the structure and functional diversity of their gut microbiome. Additionally, the study aims to explore how such changes influence BSFL growth, metabolism, and their potential applications in waste management. By analyzing the composition of the gut microbial community, changes in key functional microbes, and their correlations with host biological performance following antibiotic exposure, this research seeks to elucidate the dynamic response mechanisms of microbial diversity under environmental stress and provide scientific insights for managing gut microbial ecology in antibiotic-contaminated environments.
