Induction of functional differentiation of induced hepatocyte-like (iHep) cells

iHep cells maintained in two-dimensional (2D) culture can become functionally close to hepatocytes by forming cell aggregates under three-dimensional (3D) culture condition. We conducted comparative global gene expression analyses between 2D and 3D cultures of iHep cells. iHep cells were prepared from two independent experiments, designated iHep-1 and iHep-2.
