We addressed the roles of primarily two remodeling complexes, ISW1a and ISW1b, in affecting the chromatin organization in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Comparison of budding yeast nucleosome positions obtained using micrococcal nuclease digestion followed by paired-end sequencing (MNase-seq). We sequenced nucleosomes from isogenic strains with the isw1Δ, ioc2∆, ioc3∆, ioc4∆, chd1Δ, set1∆, set2∆ mutations in different combinations. We also examine a histone H4 N-terminal deletion mutation.
