A Novel Exosomal tRNA-derived Small RNA as a Noninvasive Biomarker for Primary Sjogren's Syndrome

Primary Sjogren's syndrome (pSS) is a chronic autoimmune disease with a lack of reliable biomarkers for early diagnosis and disease activity assessment. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) encapsulate disease-specific molecular cargos, including tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs), which are increasingly recognized as key regulators of immune responses. Here, we performed a comprehensive profiling of EV-associated tsRNAs in pSS and evaluated their potential as novel noninvasive biomarkers.
