Transcriptome profiling of hepatopancreas in Litopenaeus vannamei following Insulin-like peptide gene knockdown

This study aims to elucidate the regulatory roles of the Insulin-like peptide (Insulin-type ILP) in the Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), a key aquaculture species. We conducted transcriptomic analysis (RNA-seq) on hepatopancreas tissues from ILP knockdown and control groups. The primary objective is to identify key genes, metabolic pathways, and biological processes modulated by ILP signaling, with a particular focus on growth and glucose metabolism.
