Popular holiday destinations abroad from the Netherlands 2017-2019

As of 2018/19, a total of 3.58 million holidays were spent in Germany by tourists from the Netherlands and was the number one holiday destination. However, it was a slight decrease compared to the previous year, when nearly 3.65 holidays were registered in Germany. In total, Dutch tourists booked 22.4 million holidays, of which approximately 2.64 million holidays were spent in France and 2.59 million holidays in Spain. The number of holidays that were spent in Belgium increased, from roughly 1.52 to 1.71 million registered holidays.
