Azerbaijan: air freight volume 2005-2022

In the period of consideration, air freight volume in Azerbaijan mainly increased with slight fluctuations. In 2022, roughly 407 thousand metric tons s of cargo were transported by Azerbaijani air operations. This was a 27 percent decrease compared to the previous year when air cargo demand rose considerably due to the coronavirus pandemic.
