Study Protocol Description
Experimental setup was designed to have F/M ratio of 0.024 mg NH₄⁺-N/L/mg VSS by feeding activated sludge taken from lab scale reactor with 30 mg NH₄⁺-N/L ammonia nitrogen along with Ni, macro and micro-nutrients. Sartorius Biostat-B/Univessel reactor equipped with water jacket and MFCS software was used for dissolved oxygen measurements and OUR was calculated.
