资源简介:
This study aims to investigate in depth the toxic effects and mechanisms of action of cycloxaprid on the Pacific white shrimp (Penaeus vannamei). As a new-generation neonicotinoid insecticide, cycloxaprid is widely used in agriculture and is known for its significant control over various terrestrial pests. However, its impact on aquatic organisms, particularly on commercially important aquaculture species like the Pacific white shrimp, remains unclear. The focus of this research is to assess the impacts of cycloxaprid on the physiology and behavior of the shrimp at different concentrations, with special attention to its potential toxicity on the nervous system and hepatopancreas. Given the economic value of global shrimp farming and concerns for environmental health, our study not only aims to guide the safe use of pesticides but also may provide a scientific basis for formulating strategies for aquatic ecological protection. By revealing the mechanisms of toxicity of cycloxaprid, this research will enhance our understanding of how environmental pollutants affect aquatic ecosystems and could positively influence the sustainable development of the aquaculture industry.
