资源简介:
Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas), a bacterial pathogen, is the causal agent of citrus greening, also known as Huanglongbing (HLB), a devastating disease of citrus worldwide. CLas is transmitted by the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP), Diaphorina citri Kuwayama. While broad-spectrum insecticides remain the primary method for controlling HLB spread by managing ACP populations, entomopathogenic fungi represent a promising alternative strategy for controlling arthropod pests. We generated a de novo genome assembly and transcriptomes of Cordyceps javanica at 1, 2, 3, and 4 days post-infection (dpi) and uninfected controls to gain insights into the host-pathogen interaction at the genomic level. This work provides valuable information for the development of novel biocontrol strategies against ACP and other arthropod pests.
