Statutory Tax Rates User File

The statutory tax rates data reports common tax rates in Canada. Four tax rates are included: corporate income tax (CIT) rates for a Canadian-controlled private corporation (CCPC), corporate income tax (CIT) rates for most corporations (general), corporate income tax (CIT) rates for manufacturing and processing, and general sales tax (GST) rates. This dataset This is a user file in Excel format and is formatted wide by year with sheets for the different rates for all provinces as well as the federal government. There is a sheet for each of the following: general CIT rates, M&P rates, CCPC rates and general sales tax rates. Corporate income tax rates cover 1960 to present, and sales tax rates cover 1965 to present. Future releases This dataset will be updated on an annual basis.
