Young M.26 apple plants were grown for 6 weeks in Apple Replant Disease affected (ARD) soils from 151 different locations in Germany, either untreated or gamma-irradiated (control), in a climate chamber. Because of logistical reasons, the soils were split into 9 subset biotests conducted between 13.07.2022 and 20.08.2023 and a peat substrate control was added in each of them for normalisation between biotests. The data set comprises shoot lengths at d0 and after 6 weeks as well as shoot fresh mass, shoot dry mass and root fresh mass after 6 weeks.
