Plateau-type Tibetan sheep,Qinghai fine-wool sheep,Hu sheep Target squencing

This study investigated the genetic basis of horn type variation and gender differences in horn type traits in sheep using plateau Tibetan sheep, Qinghai fine-wool sheep, and Hu sheep as experimental subjects. The study identified key regulatory sites and variation patterns associated with horn type variation. The study aims to lay the groundwork for understanding the genetic mechanisms underlying horn formation in sheep and to provide a scientific basis for discovering hornless germplasm resources and cultivating breeds.
