Effect of Hermetia illucens and Tenebrio molitor meal on growth performance and gut microbiota of seabass

In this study, a blend of Hermetia illucens (black soldier fly larvae, BSFL) and Tenebrio molitor (yellow mealworm larvae, YML) replaced fish meal (FM) by 25 or 50% in the diet of seabass. The growth performance and gut microbiota composition of fish was assessed after a 75-day feeding trial with one of three diets: control, IM25, and IM50.
