eDNA metabarcoding in lotic environment

In this study, we investigate spatial and temporal variation in fish assemblages in two lotic systems in Croatia. We compare the traditional field surveys with two eDNA methodologies: active sampling and passive sampling. This study exemplifies how eDNA metabarcoding is a powerful tool for community monitoring, providing standardized information that will be valuable for environmental management.
