Michigan Statewide Greenhouse Gas Inventory

This dataset contains Michigan’s statewide greenhouse gas inventory covering the years 2005–2021. It summarizes economy-wide emissions across seven major economic sectors: electricity generation, transportation, residential and commercial buildings, industry, waste and wastewater, natural and working lands, and agriculture. Emissions are reported in million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MMTCO₂e) and compiled using methodologies consistent with the U.S. EPA State Inventory Tool and EPA State Greenhouse Gas Inventory datasets.
