The potential of AI (ChatGPT) in cataloging academic theses

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">The dataset includes: </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">1) catalog descriptions for PhD theses in MARC21 format with Medical Subject Headings created by the staff of the Books Acquisition and Cataloguing Division of the MUG Main Library; </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">2) catalog descriptions with subject headings created according to the attached scheme by ChatGPT based on the full text of these PhD theses.</p>
