Biodiversity of maize endophytic bacteria.

An attempt has been made to integrate areas of research competence and promote technological advances in sustainable agriculture. To do this, it was necessary to identify and select root endophytic bacteria from maize crops with the capacity to promote plant growth and provide protection against phytopathogens. Also the production of inoculants with efficient bacteria or those that favor plant nutrition for direct application in maize crops. The fulfillment of these goals must take into account actions that favor the increase in grain production in a conservative manner in the ecosystem where these agricultural practices are inserted.
