资源简介:
In May 1998, St. Louis District personnel visited the New Hampshire Army National Guard (NHARNG) Headquarters and the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources in Concord to research archaeological and historic buildings survey work conducted on Army National Guard facilities in the state. This document reports the history of cultural investigations on federally owned or federally supported NHARNG facilities, lists historic properties recorded within facility boundaries, discusses historic contexts, and provides a list of Native American tribes that may be culturally affiliated with archaeological collections recovered from NHARNG facilities. To date, three historic buildings have been recorded on NHARNG facilities, but only one, the Administration Building on the New Hampshire National Guard Training Site, is eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). No formal archaeological work has been performed for either of the two facilities investigated, State Military Reservation and New Hampshire National Guard Training Site, and there are no known archaeological collections from these properties.
