An intelligent mobile robot must have the ability to move autonomously in complex environments. Achieving this mission using classical paradigms requires a sophisticated perception of the environment and a high computational load. In this paper, we present an autonomous navigation system based on supervised learning applied to a mobile robot equipped with ultrasonic sensors. The robot will be trained and tested in several environments of different complexity. The test results showed the effectiveness of the proposed navigation system.
