A Digital Orthophoto Map (DOM) is a planar map generated through professional post-processing of aerial photographs captured via unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flights. DOM integrates both the geometric accuracy of cartographic maps and the characteristics of aerial imagery, featuring high precision, rich information, intuitive realism and a short production cycle. Natural resources and socio-economic development information can be extracted from it, providing reliable evidence for applications such as scientific and technological research, urban planning evaluation, targeted agriculture and forestry monitoring, and illegal construction inspection.
