Forest inventory

In Puéchabon and Pic Saint Loup forests (FR), 13 sampling plots were defined: 2 at Puéchabon and 11 at Pic Saint Loup. On some of these plots, GPS measurements were taken to locate the dominant trees and delimit their crown areas. The inventory has concerned both the overstory and understory with vegetation species or surface type assignment. Photos of the forest plots are also provided when available. These data were collected betwen April and October 2021, and in June 2023. This dataset is part of the SENTHYMED/MEDOAK experiment. If you use this data, please quote: K. Adeline, J.B. Féret, H.
