Dune carbon-nitrogen analysis of below-ground biomass, Hog Island, VA, August 2025

This dataset contains the results of Carbon and Nitrogen soil analyses conducted in conjunction with a coring and vegetation survey on sand dunes on southern Hog Island. The data contain the weight and percentage of each element per sample. Samples come from throughout the entire sampling effort and span dunes of three different age categories (~7, ~11, and greater than 20 years) and three types (primary, secondary, and tertiary dune ridges).
