Transcriptome of Phlebotomus chinensis

Phlebotomus chinensis, distributed in China, is a vector sand fly species responsible for the transmission of Leishmania donovani in the endemic area. In this project, we compared transcriptomes between male and female specimens which were collected from Sichuan, China. The genome of Phlebotomus chinensis has not been sequenced yet. The de novo assembled transcripts provide a valuable CDS database for the sand fly species.
