Soil quality tests of arable land under different cultivation methods in south and southwestern Finland, 2010 - 2011

The data originates from national monitoring on the effects of the Finnish agri-environment support scheme (MYTVAS). In 2010 - 2011, soil quality of agricultural fields under different cultivation methods were studied in south and southwestern Finland. Farm selection was done with the help of two regional projects for environmental protection of agriculture: RaHa-project in Uusimaa region and TEHO-project in Varsinais-Suomi and Satakunta regions. Within each farm group there were four different tillage intensities performed: ploughed, permanent / long-term grass, mouldboard ploughed and direct drilling (no-till).

Data set is not yet ready. Chemical analysis will be performed during winter 2011 - 2012.
