Sub-daily water level observations and wind diurnal cycles at Selin Co, Tibetan Plateau, 2025

This dataset contains sub-daily in situ water level observations and wind measurements collected at Selin Co (also spelled Siling Co), a large lake on the Tibetan Plateau, China. The data support the investigation of lake-level diurnal cycles and their meteorological drivers.The dataset includes three files: (1) water leve change l time series in a day from east and west radar gauge stations , along with their derived diurnal anomaly cycles; (2) diurnal cycles of wind speed and wind vector components (U, V) from three nearby meteorological stations; and (3) outputs from a 2-D numerical shallow-water model, including spatially and temporally resolved simulation results used to interpret the observed diurnal signals.
