GOME-2 SO2 Total Column Density Data Record Release 1 - Metop

The offline total SO2 column data record product provides information about vertical column densities of sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere. It is being produced with one consistent algorithm version. The retrieval of the product is based on GOME-2 (ir)radiance measurements in the wavelength region of 315-326 nm. SO2 columns are given as densitites (molecules/cm2). This monthly aggregated product is being distributed in a bundle together with other trace gases.
