An integrated dataset of spatiotemporal and event data in elite soccer

Data driven research in soccer has gained increased interest over recent years. However, public data in that field is rare. This dataset contains seven matches of official match data from the German Bundesliga first and second division. To the best of our knowledge it is the first dataset of official position data from an elite soccer competition. It is also the first dataset that has integrated position and event data.
