Occurrence and range data of bivalve through the Phanerozoic as a whole were downloaded from the Paleobiology Database (http://paleobiodb.org/#/) in October 2014. The final occurrence matrix include 161357 record belonging to 2378 genera. Origination, extinction, and diversity were estimated. and correlated the stages of the geological time scale 2014.
