Oceanographic mooring records in the Wandel Sea shelf area, 2015-2016

The year-long temperature, salinity, CDOM, chlorophyl-a and turbidity mooring records measured from the landfast sea ice near the Villum Research Station (Station Nord) in the north east Greenland. The key purpose was to consider the physical mechanisms that potentially impact the landfast sea ice and tidewater glaciers (and vice versa) in the Station North region. Specifically, the data were suggested to examine the impact of the heat advected with a relatively warm intermediate Atlantic Waters on sea-ice growth, brine rejection, buoyancy-driven mixing and the gas exchange.
