Korean saliva microbiome 16S full length sequencing

This dataset contains full-length 16S rRNA gene sequencing data obtained from saliva samples collected from healthy Korean individuals. The primary objective of this study was to establish a comprehensive reference (backbone) dataset representing the salivary microbiome of the Korean population under normal physiological conditions. This dataset will serve as a control group for future comparative analyses involving various disease cohorts, enabling the identification of disease-associated microbial signatures specific to the Korean population.
