Dendrobates auratus (green and black poison frog) transcriptome, aDenAur3

The green and black poison dart frog (Dendrobates auratus) is a brightly-colored member of the order Anura native to southern Central America and Colombia (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of a male adult individual, father of individuals aDenAur1 and aDenAur4, was derived from populations at the Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center in the Guayacan Rainforest and bred by Understory Enterprises. It was procured by Sabrina Burmeister to generate genome and transcriptome data for the aDenAur1 individual genome assembly of the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome curation were conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco. Sabrina Burmeister conducted genome assembly.
