The Triangulum Australis galaxy cluster is an extremely interesting object fortwo major reasons. It is a massive galaxy cluster in the larger Great Attractorregion thus contributes to the creation of the local cosmic flow. It is alsofound to be a dynamically evolving system with an enigmatic morphologyassociated to a radio halo and a possible radio relic. It has received much lessattention than other nearby massive clusters due to its location in the highextinction region near the Galactic equator. We propose a deeper study of thisprominent yet overlooked system to obtain a reliable mass determination and tounveil its structure which has left us with several unsolved questions in ourshallow X-ray and deep optical spectroscopic study.
