Pseudomonas capeferrum TDA1, a strain isolated from a plastic dump site, was examined further regarding its ability to degrade 2,4-TDA, a precursor and degradation intermediate of polyurethane.In that previous report, the enzymes involved in the degradation pathway of 2,4-TDA were proposed and further confirmed by RNA-seq.
